ABOUT THE OWNER
Marsha started Carnation Cleaning in 2003 when she was a part-time City of Waukesha bus driver. Wanting to keep her evenings free for her seven year old daughter, she needed a job that was during the day and had always wanted to be her own boss. She always enjoyed and was really good at cleaning other peoples' houses and decided it was the perfect business for her.
Marsha began doing some research. She made her own fliers and put them in paper boxes in subdivisions. The referrals started and haven't stopped since! It quickly grew and she had to start hiring right away.
Her sister was the first, and is still with the company a couple of days a month after all these years. Mom (Jan) helped for many years and just retired in 2012. Her daughter has been helping for years and has learned from the best! Marsha has learned a lot along the way from trial and error and customer feedback. She strives for perfection and now employs a team of 8-10 employees and continues to grow.
One of her favorite parts of being a business owner is being able to provide jobs for people. She also enjoys providing customers with the best possible service and creating wonderful lasting relationships.
When Marsha is not cleaning, she enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and sixteen year old daughter Lexi. They love their dogs, Boomer and Zoey and can't forget the Kitty. Whenever they get a chance, they love to travel to "the cities" to see their grandkids, Michael and Kenzie.
